Description and Use

Vernifer Impregnante Legno is a water-based product designed to protect and nourish outdoor wood. Its special formulation based on acrylic resins and additives guarantees effective protection against atmospheric agents, preventing wood degradation over time.

It is particularly suitable for treating various wooden artefacts such as window frames, frames, beading, beams, gazebos, fences and wooden canopies. The product is ready to use, but can be diluted with mains water at 5-10% if necessary.

Application Mode

Raw Wood: Sand with 120 grit sandpaper to improve and even out absorption.

Treated Wood: If treated with only a primer, sand and remove any traces of resin, dirt and dust. If treated with finishing paints, remove the paint before proceeding as on new wood.

Application: Apply 1 or 2 coats of product on raw wood. Wait 4-6 hours between coats. It is recommended to apply the product in the morning hours when the temperature is cooler, avoiding application in full sun. Use a synthetic bristle brush or pad for application.

Warnings and Storage

Warnings: Mix thoroughly before and during application to maintain proper uniformity of color. Perform a preliminary test to evaluate the aesthetic result. Use on woods rich in tannin or extractives may lead to a change in the white point over time. Do not apply with room and wooden support temperatures below 5°C and above 30°C.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. In unopened packaging and stored at room temperature, the product has a shelf life of at least 3 years.
