STOPABUS is a cold bituminous conglomerate, packaged in ready-to-use bags, consisting of a mixture of gravel and crushed sand, mixed hot with a special bitumen.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION:

STOPABUS is a product intended for the repair of potholes (max. Ø 50 cm) in road surfaces with continuous vehicular traffic, where speed, ease of intervention and immediate passability are required.

The use of STOPABUS as a product for repaving, restoring large areas and in particular its use in car parks, condominium areas, private areas, pavements, ramps, entrances to homes with little or no traffic and in general areas with high pedestrian and/or cycle traffic is not recommended as the presence of continuous vehicular traffic is essential for optimal performance of the material.

PROCESSING METHODS

a) PREPARATION OF THE SUBSTRATE

The subfloor must be clean, solid, stable, compact, any debris or portion of pre-existing flooring that is detached and/or unstable must be removed and there must be no presence of water or mud.
